    Entercom Austin, which owns Mix 94.7 FM, 1370 AM Talk Radio, and Majic 95.5 FM, donated a fully equipped studio and office during KOOP�s recovery.

    The weekend of January 5, KOOP�s Airport Boulevard facility was damaged by a fire, which the Austin Fire Department said was deliberately set.

    The Texas State Arson Hotline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the recent fire at KOOP�s facility. The hotline may be reached (877) 434-7345

    In the weeks leading up to the Christmas holidays, there were a number of tragic accidents across Nova Scotia, several of these taking the lives of teenagers. Lives snuffed out because of speed or inexperience in coping with the difficulties of winter driving. Are we turning our youth loose on our highways too soon? I am of the opinion that we are. Sixteen years of age is too young for someone to own their own "ride," a term today’s youth use to label their vehicles. There was a time when a young person may have earned a drivers license at that tender age, but only to drive their parents’ car. Seldom did they have their own vehicle.   • ( ) Lohan Savior Still Waiting For Reward

    Lindsay Lohan has failed to reward the chauffeur who discovered her missing handbag stuffed with jewelry worth $1 million at a London airport.

    Lohan's representative promised Tom Webster a reward or a thank you note from the star after his discovery at Heathrow Airport earlier this month -- but he has heard nothing.

    Webster tells Page Six, "They haven't gotten back to me. Not a word. She seems like a nice girl and she was pleased to get the bag back -- it was full of diamonds and bracelets and necklaces. But it's really disappointing. I'd like to hear from her with maybe just a 'thanks very much.'

    "Her people took my address and phone number and said they'd be in touch. I know these stars need a good looking-after, but she could have easily just spoke to me on the phone."
