( ) Annual sale for Craftsmen set at Vets

Ohio Designer Craftsmen will have the 14th annual Art Studio Clearance Sale this weekend in Veterans Memorial, 300 W.

Broad St.

The sale -- from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday -- will feature blown glass, clothing, pottery, handcrafted jewelry, painting and photography. Artists will be available to discuss their work.

The sale is produced by the nonprofit organization. Admission is $6, or free for children 12 and younger and members of Ohio Designer Craftsmen.
Opera fundraiser to offer music
Repertorio, the Opera Columbus high-school and college support group, will host a fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Powell United Methodist Church, 825 E. Olentangy St.
